Broughton Balcony Rooms

The hotel has six second-floor King Rooms (Grand Superior Balcony Rooms) and one suite (The Mary Marshall) that open onto a wrought iron veranda spanning the front of the hotel. Outfitted with rocking chairs, ceiling fans and hanging flower baskets, the balcony is semi-private, as only guests who reserve one of the Veranda Rooms can gain access through large raised windows. This unusual entrance was designed in the 1850s, and is original to the hotel. The Veranda rooms have been featured on the Travel Channel's Great Hotels with Samantha Brown, and are our most popular accommodations. We recommend a call to Guest Services or our Concierge to make a special request for these rooms.
