If you book directly with The Marshall House, you will be on a priority list for early check-in. An early check-in is not guaranteed, but you’ll be put at the top of the list. If your room is not ready when you arrive, we are happy to store your luggage and valet your vehicle.

Nope! But, you can smoke 10+ feet outside the door. That’s the Savannah rule.

Children are very, very welcome here at The Marshall House. The little ones under age 13 stay free.
Is The Marshall House pet friendly?
We cannot accomodate pets at this time.
Does The Marshall House offer rollaway beds or cribs?
For guests needing a crib for the room, we recommend rental services such as Baby’s Away and BabyQuip. Rollaways are not provided.
Do rooms at The Marshall House include a refrigerator or microwave?
Each room does have a mini refrigerator.
Are there coffee makers in the rooms at The Marshall House?
We do not have coffee makers in each room, but we offer complimentary coffee in the lobby.

At The Marshall House, where do we park & how much is it?
The Marshall House offers valet parking for $43 per day. Guests who book directly with The Marshall House (on our website or via the phone) can purchase the Valet Parking Package and save $5 per night on parking. This discount is not available when reservations are made through 3rd party travel websites like Expedia, Booking.com, and other similar sites.

Does The Marshall House offer a shuttle service from the airport?
We do not offer a shuttle service, but we’re happy to help you get one. The airport is 15.4 miles from downtown Savannah. A taxi ride to the airport generally costs $28 for the first person; $5 for each additional person. Uber and Lyft are also available for less.
What are your cross streets at The Marshall House?
The Marshall House faces Broughton Street at the corner of Broughton and Drayton Streets.
Is valet parking available at The Marshall House?
Yes. Valet parking is available for a nightly fee. Simply pull up to the hotel’s entrance on Broughton Street, and our staff will take care of the rest. If you know you’d like to valet your car at the time of booking, just select our Valet Parking Package to save $5 per night.
Can I charge an electric vehicle at The Marshall House?
While we do not currently offer on-site EV charging stations, there are two city garages nearby with free 3-hour charging for electric vehicles. There are 2 universal charging stations and 2 Tesla charging stations with four reserved electric vehicle parking spaces in both the Bryan Street Parking Garage (directly behind The Marshall House) and in the State Street Parking Garage, a 3-minute walk, one block away from the hotel. Our team will be happy to direct you to these and other nearby EV charging locations.
How far is The Marshall House from the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport?
The Marshall House is approximately 20 minutes by car from Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (about 12 miles). Taxis, rideshare, and shuttle services are available.
Is street parking available near The Marshall House?
Yes, metered street parking is available throughout downtown Savannah. However, we recommend valet service for convenience and guaranteed parking, especially on weekends and holidays.

Is breakfast available to guests at The Marshall House?
Breakfast is available at 45 Bistro from 7–10 am. Cost for breakfast for two guests is included in our $40+tax amenity fee, and children under age 13 eat free. Additional breakfasts are $15.95 each.
What is available during the Evening Reception at The Marshall House?
Wine and cheese are served in the Library from 5–6:30 pm. There’s also nightly entertainment, including a history talk, trivia game, and live music starting at 5:30 pm.
Does The Marshall House have an on-site restaurant?
Yes. 45 Bistro is our acclaimed on-site restaurant, located just off the lobby. It serves dinner Tuesday through Saturday and offers a cozy yet upscale atmosphere, perfect for a memorable night out.
Can I order room service at The Marshall House?
At this time, The Marshall House does not offer in-room dining or room service. However, our front desk can assist with takeout and delivery options from local restaurants.
Are there vegan, vegetarian, or gluten-free options at breakfast?
Yes. We aim to offer a variety of breakfast options, including fresh fruit, oatmeal, and select vegetarian or gluten-free items. If you have specific dietary needs, please let our staff know ahead of time so we can accommodate you.

What is the cancellation policy at The Marshall House?
Cancellations must be made 72 hours in advance for most flexible cancel rates. If you booked a pre-pay rate, that reservation may not be canceled. There are special cancellation policies for holidays and special events.
What is the Savannah hotel tax at The Marshall House?
It’s 15% — 7% to the state of Georgia, and 8% to Savannah.
Is there an amenity fee at The Marshall House?
The Marshall House does charge a $40 amenity fee per night. Included in the fee are two breakfasts at 45 Bistro ($20 for non-guests); wine reception nightly, professional concierge services, and WiFi throughout the hotel.
Are there any other fees at The Marshall House?

What are the special conditions for St. Patrick’s Day stay at The Marshall House?
Cancellations must be received by Feb 1 for the St. Patrick’s Day Celebration (March 15–17). A valid credit card number is taken at the time of booking with the full, non-refundable deposit due on February 2nd.
Can I book a specific room or a balcony view at The Marshall House?
We do our best to honor requests for specific room types or views (such as rooms with balcony access to Broughton Street). While we can’t guarantee individual room numbers, we encourage you to call directly for special requests.
Are group rates or wedding blocks available at The Marshall House?
Yes! The Marshall House is a favorite for wedding parties, small groups, and reunions. We offer group blocks and special rates for events. Contact our sales team for more details and availability.
Can I modify my reservation after booking?
Yes. Most reservations can be modified depending on your rate type and how far in advance the changes are made.
